Starting a Business in a Down Economy

Filed under: Misc — admin @ 10:49 am

Believe it or not, this may be the best time to start your own business. A slow economy makes anyone uneasy because of the natural assumption that there is less money out there. But in reality, a recession opens up all sorts of new niches. The money is still there, it is just being spend differently. According to a recent report by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, more than half, of the companies on the Fortune 500 list this year began during a recession or bear market or both.

Consumers are now analyzing their purchases much more closely than they once were. What do I really need, and what am I really getting for my money. This is a perfect opportunity to present customer with products that will last longer than anything else out there. Help them eliminate the expense of repairing a floor coating every couple years. Epoxies are designed to do one thing, and that’s FAIL. With Vortex & Granitex, you will never need to recoat a floor for over a decade. Over the life of the floor coating, you have saved yourself a lot of money over what other cheaper floor coatings would cost.

Another great advantage of Vortex is it’s great ability to save money by greatly reducing energy costs. One of the most energy inefficient devices used is the heat pump, which is used in air conditioners, refrigerators/freezers, geothermal heating, etc. By using Vortex to reduce the amount of heat energy being lost, incredible amounts of money can be saved on utility bills. For more info, check out Thermal Conductivity.

They key to thriving in an economy where people are looking to save money, is providing a product or service that can save a customer money. According to Tim Kane, a senior fellow in Research & Policy at the Kauffman Foundation, The worst job market in 26 years may be the perfect time to start a business.

Amazing Floor Cleaning Duo

Filed under: Misc — admin @ 12:11 pm

The first step to applying a coating to any surface is getting it clean. When you need a heavy duty “all inclusive” cleaner for floors and other surfaces, the combination of K7 Cleaner and J3 Deactivating powder can’t be beat. For floors that may have been etched or cleaned with acid, J3 Deactivating powder does a great job neutralizing acids and other compounds. Available in either a resealable 14oz bag or plastic jar.

The K7 Degreaser is non-toxic but designed to dissolve the toughest grease from floors, clothes, dishes, counters, engines, etc. It actually emulsifies the grease (breaks it up) and then suspends it in the solution so when you rinse the surface the grease and oil are rinsed away and not left to form a film. Available in 1 gallon containers.

For tough cleaning jobs put about 3″ of hot water in a pail, add about 16 ounces of K7 Degreaser and 3 ounces of the J3 Deactivating powder to create a super heavy duty cleaner. When the J3 and the K7 are combined you won’t find a more effective cleaner.

The Secret to Getting a Long Lasting Floor Coating

Filed under: Granitex, Misc — admin @ 12:10 pm

Why do 99% of floor coatings fail? You sand, strip, clean, bead blast, soda blast, diamond grind and even use muriatic acid. The floor sill flakes, chips, sticks to your tires, stains, etc. Whether you use epoxy paint, polymer coating, or even acrylic coatings, they all begin to fail in as little as three to six months, some times even sooner. When everything fails, what can you do?

Well, Vortex™ & Granitex™ coatings have great news. Everything depends on your prep work. Even when you clean, sand, strip, and etch the floor, there is still something missing. Super Sealer™ is an exclusive patented product only from the Vortex™ company & only for Vortex™ dealers.

Here is how Super Sealer™ works. Once the floor or other surface has been properly cleaned, you mix together the Super Sealer™ two part mix then roll it on with a standard ⅜” nap roller. This will soak into the concrete and penetrate deep into the capillary network within the concrete. As the Super Sealer™ starts to cure by its thermal conducting process, it will expand into the pores of the concrete, giving it a strong chemical & mechanical bond. After twenty-four hours of cure time, the Super Sealer™ can be coated with either of our patented Vortex™ or Granitex™ coatings which become chemically bonded to the Super Sealer™.
